Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for a few more hands to help out with specific projects. You would be working under the guidance of our staff members, who just have a few too many worthwhile projects relative to their available time. If you have the skills we are looking for, please consider joining our team!

We need a lawyer who is familiar with thimerosal to help us hold our government agencies accountable. We need someone who has time for conference calls and to write letters for us.

We need a social media-savvy volunteer to help us create content for various social media outlets, to monitor and engage constituents on twitter and facebook and to recommend and build our presence on other social media sites. We anticipate that this person would need to be able to give a small amount of time every week.

We need writers familiar with our mission and history to help draft materials for fundraising, educating parents and developing new media. These drafts could be done on a flexible schedule with mutually agreed upon target dates.

We have an environmental research project regarding mercury that could use the expertise of someone with some science or statistical background. This would be a larger initiative than the others, and spread over 6 months to a year.

We need volunteers around the country who are willing to help with our upcoming fundraising auction by soliciting donations of products or gift cards in your local area.
