It is time to start the revolution that our children so desperately need

If ever there was a time that we need your help, it is now.

To recap the past few weeks:

  • The Poling family received their long-awaited award for Hannah's vaccine-induced autism. The media spin is that hers is an isolated case, not applicable to other children.
  • The Centers for Disease Control published their long-awaited study of thimerosal exposure and risk for ASD. As usual, the press lost no time in declaring the mercury/autism debate over. It is no coincidence that this was published this week. The study has been nine years in the making.
  • The Age of Autism is published, providing strong evidence that mercury is implicated in the autism epidemic from its earliest days.

We need help spreading the word.

We need help to ensure that the public hears more than one side of this story. Please commit to doing something, even if you only have 5 minutes to spare. Here are steps you can take to help:

If you have 5 minutes:

  • If you haven't read the book yet, please CLICK HERE to purchase.
  • Forward this press release to everyone in your address book.
  • Ask your library to buy a copy of the book.
  • Ask your local bookstore to promote the book.
  • Post a link to this press release on your Facebook page.
  • Tweet about the book.
  • Send an AGE OF AUTISM e-card to your friends and family.

If you have 20 minutes:

  • Call a friend or relative who is pregnant to talk about the mercury-autism connection.
  • Order our free flu vaccine brochure and distribute it to your doctors, family and friends. Download here. Order here.
  • Talk to the other parents at school or sporting events.
  • Ask your pediatrician to use only mercury-free vaccines.
  • Ask your OB/Gyn to use only mercury-free vaccines.
  • Write a review of the book on Amazon. While you are there tag the book by checking the boxes next to the relevant topics.
  • Ask your friends to sign up for our free e-newsletter so they can follow what is happening.
  • Recommend the book to your book club.

Have an hour or two to help?

If you are feeling really ambitious:

  • Buy copies of the book and give them to:
    • Your pediatrician and other doctors
    • Your school nurse
    • Your pharmacist
    • Your superintendent of schools
    • Your local legislators
    • Your public library and local school and college libraries
  • Host an event for Mark and Dan in your local area. Contact Becky Estepp for more information.
  • Give a talk at your school, house of worship or to other members of any volunteer groups that you belong to (Kiwanis, Masons, Knights of Columbus, volunteer ambulance and fire companies, Junior League, PEO, United Way, etc). There are lots of materials on our website.

Don't be shy

Shyness doesn't protect kids. If you saw a toddler running into traffic, you would stop him. The devastation of our children's health will only go away when everyone realizes the enormity of the problem and collectively says "no more and never again."

Anyone who e-mails us to say that they have done any three of these steps may have their name included on our Age of Autism Advocates Honor Roll. Please share with us any ideas that we may have missed and please forward this call to action to anyone you know who may be willing to help. Contact us and let us know what you've been doing to spread the word.

Thank You For Taking Action to Help Children Everywhere!
