Executive Director

SafeMinds is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented executive director to lead us to the next level.  The ideal candidate will have experience in strengthening and motivating a grassroots constituency, demonstrated fundraising skills, and solid communications abilities. He/she should be effective in collaborations with other organizations and have demonstrated competency working with government entities.

Belief in and passion for our mission are essential. SafeMinds believes that the epidemic of childhood autism and the disabilities that accompany autism will end when our environment, food, and health care products are universally safe and non-toxic. SafeMinds works for justice, accountability and integrity in science and public policy as a means for preventing these disabilities in future generations. We educate and empower people, focus on prevention and fund research to find treatments that will lead to recovery for those living with autism.

Grant Writer

SafeMinds is looking for a part-time contract grant writer to research and identify funding sources and prepare, submit and manage grant proposals to foundations, corporations and government sources. Candidate should have experience in working with staff and volunteers to document programs and organizational impact and assist in the development of measurable goals and objectives, program timelines and budgets.
